That's weird eh? Reminds me of a Halloween pumpkin. It didn't seem to move. I can try that too. I got an ir led light thingy today and I can use my ir ip camera to record. I'm wondering if you were pointed at the edge of the mirror? There could have been a slight crack in the glass only noticeable when the torch is shone on it. Dunno really odd. I hope I don't see one as well gulp!!
I did try it with the ir led light I got and my p8079hp nv tube, but all I saw was a dirty looking mirror. oops! I'd better clean it. I didn't record it though. slightly embarrassed over the dirty mirror :o)
That's freaky as! Do you think the little flashes were reflections off the mirror onto the phone holder stand? Is it your mirror? Or was it in the house when you bought it?
Also, are they sliding mirrored doors on tracks? They could be moving from wind or air circulation dunno. Either way, you can keep the laughing policeman in your mirror. Stay away from mine :)
The flashes could be off the back of the phone, good thinking.
The Mirror is a slider and was bought with the house. Its a 4 door wardrobe, the window and room door were closed, maybe a vibration from the heating system as the boiler is housed in the Wardrobe,
I'll clean my mirror and try again later tonight. If I don't get similar then your laughing skullman can stay inside your mirror ok? I'll use my mob phone too and my ir dildo torch :o)
Had a good look at your vid, nothing apparent but im sure i see things flirting around, may be interference from the image tube, do you have a digital NV?

I hope you do, honestly its not scary, I just think of it as looking at a weird TV screen.

Move your camera around a bit, I think my talking head is a IR lens flair, a sort of projection.
@MrGreyface here's my attempt

I have an ip camera with its own ir light, I'll try that. It wifi's to my phone. The same one I filmed all those dust critters with in my lounge room.
That should work, try to find a lens flare, Im sure thats what contains the image on my vid
