Ok it seems the other guy who had a decent recording of a similar blob has deleted his video. Damn it. But here is another video of mine from almost 2yrs ago to the day using the Luna Optics digital colour nv monocular. This also was recorded in Winter, so definitely not a bug close to the camera. This was zoomed in 5x. I'll keep looking for another good video I know of by Scott Browne on yt. Here is mine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-QSVg0mglY
I found it yayyy!!! Although I hate the dude, I'll put that aside to show the similar footage :)
I think your luna clip is a really good example, Mr Browne's clip, looks different, like a out of focus object, movement less fluid, jerky. Out of focus dew drop on a spider line. Or a tiny spider.
His is small, yours is big, but then we knew that already : )
Your Luna example, is massive compared, his is next to a fir tree, yours is next to a crane.
First of all I thought that Browne video was a little suspicious too. I thought I saw a spider web line next to the tree. But he said it came back so I dunno. But since you kinda noticed it too well maybe we are right :) Secondly, how do you know this top video is an orb? It looks exactly the same as mine. Maybe they are all orbs of some kind? Or do you think it was too small in comparison?
That Luna video has 3 good things in it. Was very lucky that night. If you watch the flags on the crane you can see I'm in at least 25fps. But that meteor or whatever that flew down diagonally was long. That's not a frame rate issue. A proper meteor would leave a faded streak behind it.
But we are investigating the blobs. I'll speak to ufo Joe and try and get him in here too. He may have videos or at least be able to look out for them as well.
In the meantime it's raining :( I wonder if blobs come out? or are under the clouds in rainy weather?
Over the years Ive seen a few Orbs, of all sizes, sometimes with my own eyes. The big ones are usually outdoors, I think there are at least two types of orb, those associated with ghosts and the paranormal, the other nature as often orbs are captured in woodland and gardens, as to what they actually are, no one knows. I theorise that they are the signature of an energy, ether created by an unknown life form or a part of nature. Willow the wisp was a children's cartoon voiced by Kenneth Williams, "Willow" was a strange light that lived in the woods.
Nothing much to report. I'm still doing time lapses in the same area to see if I can capture the same again. If not, then that would dismiss camera artifacts. I'm using the same camera and lens too. But nothing............ yet!
I just watched that Willow the Wisp cartoon, lol. I remember Kenneth Williams. He was in the "carry on" movies. with the likes of Syd James and Kenneth Conner Cooorrr!!!! etc. Funny stuff back in those days. I didn't understand the cartoon but I get the wispy gist. :)
The "Carry on's" are still shown regularly on UK TV. Lots of tits and bum jokes, proper British humour, now its all P,C crap. Nothing funny anymore. The cartoon was weird, i vaguely remember it. Anyhow, back to looking for blobs, unable to film over the weekend, I forget that this time of year Im in bed before sundown. Im tucked up at 22:00.
Agreed, it moves exactly with the star field, big bugger too.
Im thinking these blobs could be energy signatures. A laser can be seen from far far away, the laser point becomes larger over distance, if a laser is pointed toward Earth from Space our eyes may not pick up the light source but a Night Vision device may.
Photonic Propulsion used by Satellites create laser divergence and Plume signature
Anything is possible. I noticed on stellarium after looking for a sat I saw last night, that there is a whole bunch of sats just sitting out there in almost a straight line to my WNW over that big tree.
This area is where I'm seeing these blobs. Hmmm I wonder?
I'll do that video soon and post here. It seems an appropriate place for it.
The three-axis stabilized satellite is equipped with 13 Ka-band transponders [2] (20 GB / s with 26 beams) and is to supply from the position 110.5 ° East from China and surrounding areas with Internet and multimedia services. The satellite also has a laser communications terminal from satellite to ground and electric engines. These include essentially four xenon LIPS-200 lean mass propulsion units from the Lanzhou Physical Institute (LIP), Lanzhou Physical Institute, LIP, founded in 1962, with a diameter of about 200 millimeters and a nominal thrust of paired small boom mounted engines each 40 millinewtons. The specified pulse is 3,136 seconds, while the power requirement is 1,200 watts during operation.[3] It was based on the satellite bus DFH-3B of the China Academy of Space Technology (CAST) built and has a design life of 15 years. [1]
Laser to ground communication terminal, bingo! you were right :o)
What are these mystery blobs? if you have a theory or any footage of similar objects, post them here. Thank you.
I'll find the other yt videos I've seen of similar to mine and share the links here. Cheers.

I found this, its an orb, but looks similar to the blob.
A still from the above clip

My preliminary theory regarding Brians Blobs, is that they may well be a form of Orb, perhaps the first stages of formation.

I had very overcast skies last weekend, looks better now so Ill have a go with my NV

I found another video from back in 2015 with a "blob" type object in it.
here.

Just an idea 😃

Straight after I do my kitten rescuing video :)
Here is the sat video using stellarium.
I saw something about Satellite's being taken out, dont know if this video is legit but it may have a bearing on your observations, STAR WARS
@MrGreyface Looks very suss eh?
Also check the link on yt about the Chinasat 16..... which I highlighted on my video.
Here is a copy paste from it,
Chinasat 16 (Shijian-13, ZX-16) is an experimental Chinese communications satellite .
He was placed in a geostationary orbit at 11:04 UTC on April 11, 2017, using a Long March 3B launcher from the Xichang launch site . [1]
The three-axis stabilized satellite is equipped with 13 Ka-band transponders [2] (20 GB / s with 26 beams) and is to supply from the position 110.5 ° East from China and surrounding areas with Internet and multimedia services. Laser to ground communication terminal, bingo! you were right :o)
@Brian Paton
Yay, it had to happen at some point
If those sats are totally still, not moving with the star field, your big telescope could get a good look at them?
Well you know how there is a big tree right there in stellarium?
Well it's the same at my place :( A big oak tree.
But I could try next time I'm out there.
I can connect to stellarium once aligned, and let it steer me there :)
